Is going to a transition program really worth the time explains the experience there, but missing what's good, and what's bad about it. Here 20 things; including, ten pros and, ten cons.

The pros of going;
1.Meeting People
2.Work experience
3.Life Experience
4.Learning about communities
5.Learning how to interact
6.Finished diploma/completion of IEP
7.Chance of College experience depending on program
8.Finding out what you want to do if you are unsure
9.Finishing personal goals
10. Discovering more about yourself and who you are

Those were 10 things good about a Transition Program.

The cons of going;
1.  You are able to take care of yourself.
2.  You have a plan to go to College
3. Staff or students don't seem to understand your concerns or needs
4. Aware others are judging you or giving you a strange look; feeling out of place
5. Your disability doesn't effect your every day life
6. Road blocks in building a friendship or relationships due to other staffs or students over concerns
7. The environment being over protective though they expect you to try to solve real world issues
8. Unable to do something you're way; right or wrong
9. Burning cookies into melted slush more than once
10. This pros and cons list itself

Why this list? Why the blog before it? Didn't explain the good or bad; this fills that voided information. This mostly depends on experience and what type of program it is. Some are similar to a Tranistion program, the location is different; the rules may also very.
