10 things in College

The list of these ten things can be outrageously interchanged. Depending on how you view them or what happens in the scenario, either way, here's a list of 10 things in college.

1. When registering for class, it's not like high school. There are different times of day you have to choose for each class, and it may depend on the college itself.

2. You do not  ALWAYS need to raise your hand. Sometimes the instructor, professor or teacher is expecting you to know the answer, If you have an answer, they want to hear it, just try not to be too gregarious.

3. Your instructor won't always tell you what your assignment is and usually expects you to have a way in remembering, weather it's in your agenda, phone, a list. If you are unsure of it, ask your instructor or ask for someone who may be able to assist you.

3. The more classes means more homework. if you have 2 classes, it's already a handful and most likely skipping right to five could be overwhelming. This also means you should make your work a priority instead of out partying, though partying would sound so sweet.

5. Having class canceled could be your best friend depending how you prioritize your time. If you get all your work done, you have a lot more free time or time to catch up on things you have missed.

6. College has several different resources and again your location and the College you attend will depend on those resource. Some Colleges may have Special Ed support, Centers, Tutors, Libraries, Quiet spaces, and maybe just someone genuinely nice who wants you to do well in College and willing to help you.

7. College is expensive if you struggle financially, and stated above there are several resources. Your College may have something to aid you in class, housing, possibly a job.

8. College is another great way to make friends, meet new people, be yourself, maybe awkward at shy at first but come out of your bubble to those you spent a lot of time with. They may not last, or may, but you always have a lot of opportunities. to make new friends in College.

9. Self advocate for yourself, your others, classmates, or even tell your instructor what you and or the class could benefit from. Talking to someone isn't always easy and may not always help you, but may give you ideas what you need to do to succeed and try harder. Pass or fail, not easy but you put your effort in it and gave it your all..

10. and the final thing is... If you need to go to the bathrrom, you don't have to raise your hand or sing a pass, of course unless your College has those restrictions. You're an adult, or maybe someone extremely smart, you don't need to have the whole class know you're going to the bathroom.

Had fun writing this blog, I hope you find some useful information in here or maybe you just got a kick out of it but either way, thanks for reading.
