I had a brilliant idea for a title and blog. I thought to myself. Why not share one of the most amazing experiences I could ever have in middle school, 6-8th grade with such an amazing teacher and support staff...
You may be asking, why the blog title? That's why you're reading this, to get the answer.
Mr. Ronald Miles, you were a very outstanding teacher. I can't believe how much you supported your students, including me. You were always there for staff and students if they were having a bad day, willing ti find a problem and make them smile. You truly were one of the most positive people I could have ever come across in my life. Without you, many things wouldn't be possible in my life. You and your staff made a difference to me. Every time you would always ask us to guess a number and it was usually 7. You always had those lucky 7s around in your mind. Never able to stop thinking about them.
Those times you mentioned , all of them matter. (If the times we marked down how many times it crossed your mind.) They show how positive, how spirited you are. Your radiant sunshine and lucky sevens rub off on me, after meeting you I felt even luckier then I use to. Without you. I would not have seen the possibilities or have been able to turn my days around. You have helped me out more than I could ever imagine. You are always in my thoughts each and every day, and I just can't express how grateful I am. You've done just.... SO MUCH! for me. It warms my heart to know to have people like you in my life that are unique.....
The most unique things about you are your vibrations of positivity, your lucky attitude, and your wits to enable yourself to turn your day around and work along with others to do the same thing..... Though you have left us you live on in my memories each and every day. When I come across 7, or someone with an attitude similar to yours. I look back and smile. Those were the most 3 amazing years of middle school with you. even though I was meant to have a different case manager. It must have been destiny for us to become such awesome friends....
I miss you Mr. Miles......
I will always run 7 miles in tribute to you.
Hi Todd. Your post brought tears to my eyes and warmed my heart. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about Ron with us. Ron overcame many challenges and hardships to become the wonderful person and extraordinary teacher you knew. He was also a loving husband, a great father and a helpful friend. He chose to live his life with integrity, compassion and kindness. Your post is a testimony to the impact of his life on so many of us. He would have been so honored to read what you wrote, and so proud of you for how you've chosen to live your life. Again, thank you so much for this wonderful tribute to a wonderful man.
